Ron Jenkins

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did.” -Mark Twain

Ron Jenkins grew up in Northern Utah. After graduating high school, he moved to Kotzebue, a remote town in northwestern Alaska. There he enjoyed many successful hunts on his own. At the age of nineteen, he bought and learned to fly a Piper Cub, and started working as an assistant guide. At 22 he became Alaska Registered Guide 601 and guided numerous hunts throughout the state for the next 20 plus years. Ron currently lives in Utah and enjoys traveling and spending time in the backcountry with his family and horses. He continues to enjoy Alaska, returning each fall. He also has a passion for the African bush, particularly Zimbabwe. Along with hunting, Ron enjoys every opportunity he has to travel and meet new people, especially other sportsmen from around the world.
